Cashman’s Pub in Downtown Macon, Ga. My full review. We were recommended this place by a server at another restaurant, so why not?
We started with the gouda bacon bites. Amazing. The longer they sat, the firmer the cheese and more the flavors blended.
We also had the buffalo chicken egg rolls. Basically like a buffalo chicken fried burrito with just the right amount of sauce.
I had the bacon jam burger. Who doesn’t like bacon, marmalade and fried egg on a burger? I chose onion rings as my side. Over cooked, but I was too full to eat them anyway.
Jay got the American. Typical burger with the fixings and he really enjoyed it. He did forget to add bacon, but I had enough falling off mine to share.
Nice ambiance. You walk into the long bar area with many TVs with the games on. There was seating at high and low tables, as well as a stage area for live entertainment. There was an elevated area that had railing around it, I am assuming for bigger groups or reserved parties. There was also an upstairs area and patio seating too! The bartender was also the server and was very busy, but super polite. I feel it was busy enough to have an additional person working.
We give it a 7/10 bc we haven’t tried Wing Wednesday (advertised as White Claw and Wing Wednesday–way to “cash” in on the latest rave!) YET! Looking forward to all of the other starters, as well!
Fyi…we could finish nothing. We will be back fo sho!
